Dean’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. He has extensive experience in handling construction related disputes, including mechanic’s lien foreclosure actions, surety bond claims, and commercial and individual lending disputes. Dean’s experience also includes landlord and tenant disputes and the representation of various municipalities in the Chicagoland area.
Dean is committed to the legal profession and its continuing legal education programs. He frequently speaks at legal seminars, including recent presentations for Lorman Education Services, the National Bond Claims Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Chicago Surety Claims Association. Dean further promotes the legal profession and gives back to the community by serving as a mentor to local law students and participating as a judge in the Annual Chicago Public Schools’ Intra-City Mock Trial Competition.
