Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution

Katherine joined Levin Ginsburg as a Partner in its litigation practice. Katherine has over 15 years of experience in a broad range of complex business litigation and appellate matters in both state and federal courts. Katherine’s representative engagements include breach of contract disputes, real estate disputes, professional malpractice claims, fraud and breach of fiduciary duty claims, actions to enforce arbitration awards, partnership and shareholder disputes, insurance coverage disputes, broker liability claims, employment-related litigation matters, antitrust, and RICO claims.

In 2014, Katherine was selected by the Law Bulletin Publishing Company as one of the Top “40 Under Forty” Attorneys in Illinois.  For the past nine years, Katherine has been recognized as an Illinois “Rising Star” in the 2009-2017 editions of Illinois Super Lawyers magazine in the area of Business Litigation, which listing is limited to fewer than 2.5% of lawyers under 40 years of age in the State of Illinois.  Katherine has also been selected by her peers as a member of The Leading Lawyers Network for the years 2014-2017 in commercial litigation, civil appellate law, and family appellate law, an award given to less than 5% of all attorneys in Illinois.

Katherine is an active member of the Appellate Lawyers Association and serves as a committee member and contributing writer for its blog, The Brief.  Katherine is also a member of the Business Divorce and Complex Ownership Dispute and Commercial Litigation Committees of the Chicago Bar Association, as well as a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
