Experience 

Mark has built his practice around meeting the legal needs of businesses and individuals as they arise. Mark has gained valuable experience around insurance issues, including litigating insurance coverage disputes, bad faith claims, and insurance producer negligence and regulatory matters. Mark also has substantial experience in real estate litigation, including commercial and residential lease disputes, construction disputes, and building code enforcement. Mark also regularly assists small businesses with corporate and LLC formation, as well as litigation of disputes arising out of the operation of their businesses, including contract, employment, shareholder, membership, and partnership disputes.

In addition to his experience as a business advisor and litigator, Mark also represents individuals with respect to trust administration and fiduciary duty issues, probate and guardianship matters, and other personal and family disputes.

Mark has also successfully briefed and argued numerous appeals in the Appellate Courts of Illinois. Representative decisions include:
